Gatineau Park Ski Photos from April 3rd, 2009

On skis on all the way to the Firetower (without the 33 detour to descend 24), even at Wolf Trail crossing.  Snow on bridges 20-35cm. A few bare patches required walking a few metres on leaves. The rain over the next couple of days may change things a bit, but I still suggest using rock skis (skate or waxless, too much dirt/leaves for klister), and expect minor walking on Sunday and after.  As Kevin suggests, park at P12, especially if you want to ski at Easter, the best snow is out past the Wolf Trail.
