Employment Opportunity - Ski Program Coordinator at North Bay Nordic

The North Bay Nordic Ski Club is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Ski Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator will oversee all programs delivered by the club, ensuring that high quality ski programs, training and coaching are provided at all levels. The Program Coordinator will plan the club programming to align with the LTAD model. The Program Director will supervise and mentor the paid/volunteer coaches to ensure professional development and foster a strong coaching team. The position will also involve communication of available club programming to the general membership.

This contract position will be a full time seasonal position from September to March inclusive. The North Bay Nordic Ski club has over 700 members and has at capacity programs at the Jackrabbit, Development Team and Junior Racing Team levels, with room for development of Masters programming. Under the leadership of an enthusiastic and energetic Program Coordinator the club potential is huge.

Minimum Requirements:

• NCCP level 2 or LTT accreditation or willingness to be trained to that level
• Knowledge and understanding of the LTAD model
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
