A Team Storefront Option Allowing Individual Team Members to Place Orders Online.
Podiumwear Custom Sports Apparel has built an innovative Team Storefront interface on it’s website, allowing individual team members to place orders on their own, without having to go through a coach or team manager.

Podiumwear Custom Sports Apparel has built an innovative new Team Storefront interface for clients on it’s website, www.podiumwear.com. The Podiumwear Team Storefront was custom-built to take away the headaches of managing a large team apparel order, which often falls to the head coach, team captain, or other volunteer. Instead of having to collect and keep track of quantities, sizes and payments from each team member, the Team Storefront option allows individual team members to place and pay for their own orders.
“We wanted to design a Team Storefront interface because many of our clients have large and complicated orders with lots of pieces, different color ways, sizes and prices for each team member,” said Jessica Lutter, Director of Sales and Marketing. “It can become a full-time job, not to mention stressful, for the person handling the team order. When Reid started the company back in 2003, his goal was to cater to his customers and provide good service in an industry where that was extremely lacking,” she said. “The Team Storefront is another big step toward that goal. The clients who’ve used it so far are thrilled. I think all our clients will be very pleased.”
Individual team members can now link to their own Podiumwear Team Storefront, where a 3D image of their custom products are profiled. They can then enter their contact information, quantities, sizes and credit card information. The Storefront tracks everyone’s order, updating the coach or team manager with each new order. The complete order ships to the team manager/coach with a list of every individual order for easy hand-out. It doesn’t get easier than that.
