Nationals 2013: Whistler time!

Well it's that time of year again: Nationals are here!!!

This year the Canadian National Ski Championships are being held at Whistler Olympic Park at the Callaghan Valley Ski Centre.

This year, nationals will be bigger and more exciting than ever! For the first time, the National Biathlon, Cross country, Para Nordic and Nordic combined championships are all being held in the same place. Basically, Whistler is going to be the place to be in the next couple of weeks! 

Skiers from around the country, including everyones favourite team XCOttawa, members of the Canadian World Cup team and not to mention Klister the new Cross Country mascot will be seen on the race trails of the 2010 Olympic venue. 

Personally, Callaghan is one of my favorite places to ski. Its twisting turny descents, gut-busting climbs and imcomparable views make it heaven on earth for any skier.
