Help! Lost skis after accident on #4

Hi there, not sure if you can help with this, but thought I would give it a shot. My spouse and I were in Gatineau Park and she had a bad fall and broke her arm. We had to go to the hospital in a hurry and leave our skis and poles behind (two pairs of Fischer skis with black poles). As we were going, a good Samaritan offered to take them to the end of the end of the trail for us (fall took place at the intersection of the 34 and 4 -- he could have meant the 4 or Camp Fortune). Any way to post this so skiers are on the lookout for our lost skis? Seems like such a shame to lose them so early in the season!

Accident was Sunday, Jan 18 at around 13:00. We started from P7 and were at intersection of 4 and 34 heading toward Camp Fortune when the crash happened. Good Samaritan was a gentlemen in his late 30’s early 40‘s with a red ski jacket, pulling a trailer. He said he would drop them off at the trail head (I thought end of 4, or further down near Camp Fortune, but so far no luck). Have called everyone since (Ski Patrol, NCC Visitor Center, Camp Fortune) and no one has seen the skis. Ski Patrol HQ at P8, Camp Fortune Client Services + rentals, and NCC reception center all say they haven't turned up. I wonder if they might not be at a trail head somewhere buried under snow! I'm thinking it's kind of a long shot to find them now, but would be great if you could post a note.

Much appreciated. Patrick
