Come join us! Chelsea Community Winter Trail Celebration: This Sunday, 1PM to 4PM at the Larrimac Golf Course!

The Chelsea Community Winter Trail is major asset for local skiing and more general recreation. During the winter months, a 16km section of the railway corridor passing through Chelsea is groomed (by Lafleur de la Capitale no less!) for skiing and other recreational opportunities.
The Chelsea Community Winter Trail is directly accessible to a large number of residents and provides a non-motorized route between residences and even some businesses (such as those in "new" Chelsea, for example). Just yesterday members of XC Ottawa witnessed as children from the preschool in the CLSC in Chelsea got out for some afternoon skiing directly from their class.
Members of XC Ottawa will be out to socialize and help out with any questions people might have related to skiing and ski racing. We will be available for short lessons in either classic or skate.
The party starts at 1pm (goes until 4pm) at the Larrimac Golf Course, this Sunday (February 22). Further details available here:
