Canadian Wintersports Race wax service notice: Worldloppet Gatineau Loppet - Official Feb 18 & 19

This year Canadian Wintersports has teamed up with ClubSkinouk and Fresh Air Experience Ottawa to offer you the best possible kick and glide for both the Saturday Classic and Sunday Skate Races. We have two of the best waxers in the area stepping forward to offer their expertise. With Pierre-Olivier Dorego and Nic Clifford, your skis will literally be in great hands. In addition to fantastic skis, a large portion of the proceeds will be donated to ClubSkinouk of Gatineau, Quebec to support their competitive program.

Your final race wax will be determined in the same way as the best athletes in the country: all testing will be done on site using a control group of skis for comparison.

The weather is looking perfect so here are all the details you need to have perfect skis without the worry:

*Saturday Classic Races (Race Service provided by Fresh Air Experience):

Last drop-off time (classic skis): Friday, February 17th at 21:00

Pick-up (classic skis): Saturday February 18th at 07:00 at Fresh Air booth in the Mont-Bleu School gymnasium

**Sunday Skate Races (Race Service by Pierre-Olivier Dorego to benefit Club Skinouk of Gatineau, Quebec)

Last drop-off time (skate skis): Saturday February 18th at 17:00 at Fresh Air Experience, 1291 Wellington St. W. in Ottawa or at the Fresh Air Experience booth at the XC Show / Mont-Bleu Gymnasium

Pick-up (skate skis): Sunday February 19th at 07:00 at Fresh Air booth in the Mont-Bleu School gymnasium
