I've heard all of these phrases uttered this week, along with a few unmentionable phrases from skiers caught in the rain. The truth is you can never tell what will happen next with the weather, we just have no control. But we can monitor it closely, as we Canadians tend to do. It's to that end that XC Ottawa added some new weather features to the website...
Current conditions on the main page...
Look in the top right corner of the "Gatineau Park Conditions" box and you'll see the current temperature and general conditions. These are continually updated as the temperature or conditions change. |
Weather forecasts and plots...
Our Weather page has also been improved to bring you the latest forecast information along with more details about current conditions. The plot at the bottom of the page shows you the trends for temperature and humidity over the past 24 hours. We've also kept the links to other sites where you can find second, third and even fourth opinions on what the weather has in store for us. |
