Exciting news for Canada Day - Chandra Crawford, the Olympic Gold medallist, is coming to Ottawa!
She's been invited here by the NCC for the Canada Day festivities on Parliament Hill, but she would love to meet the area's young aspiring skiers for an autograph session on Saturday morning at Fresh Air Experience (1291 Wellington) from 9:15 to 9:45am.
While the store will be closed for business, it will open its doors at 9:15am for this special occasion. Posters and calendars will be on sale so that Chandra can sign them, or you can also bring something in to be signed by her. A group photo will be taken afterwards outside the store.
Also keep an eye out for her Parliament Hill on Saturday. We will post an update on www.xcottawa.ca if we get a more detailed report on when and where to find her.
Hopefully we'll see all of the area's JackRabbits and Junior racers out to meet Chandra!
