Nakkertok Nordic Ski Centre & Lighted Trail Grand Opening, Feb. 7th, 2007!

Nakkertok Nordic Ski Club invites everyone to come join us for the grand opening of our Nakkertok Nordic Ski Centre and Lighted Trail on Wednesday February 7, 2007 from 6:30PM - 9PM. There will be skiing under our 2km of lighted trail, followed by a torchlight ski at 8:00PM and then a brief ceremony thanking our generous sponsors: Owl Rafting/Madawaska Kanu Centre, Fresh Air Experience and la MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais, la Conférence régionale des élus et le ministère des Ressources naturelles, de la Faune et des Parcs du Québec, and Fischer/Swix.

The Nakkertok Nordic Centre boasts 75 kilometres of groomed ski trails and the region's only permanent lighted ski trail and stadium. We are also proud to be opening our spacious and warm Ski Chalet and Ski Barn which is the newest of our five support buildings.

We'll provide light refreshments, great company, and of course, great skiing under the lights (or stars if you choose). Directions to the Nakkertok Nordic Centre are available on our website (http://nakkertok.ca/en/location.htm).

This is a completely free and open event for everyone.
