Bonjour de la Nouveau Brunswick,
We arrived on Thursday night in New Brunswick. XC Ottawa is represented here
by me and our coach, John Langstone, both here with Ontario. On Saturday we
attended the Opening Ceremonies, which were quite well done and the dancing
was impressive. The ski trails are new and wide with a good selection of
climbs. The stadium is the largest I have ever seen and should make for a
good mass start. We are currently looking forward to the 10km Classic Mass
Start on Monday while the forecast calls for heavy precipitation Sunday and
Monday (hopefully it is snow and doesn't get ugly).
I hope that everyone is enjoying the skiing in Ottawa.
