team, Alana Thomas. Alana is a talented skier with impressive results that earned
her a spot on Team
In her own words, here's a bit more about Alana . . .
I started out as a mountain bike racer and first got into
skiing about 8 years ago with some family friends (who were already pretty hardcore,
they even skied in tights!) thinking it would be a good way to cross-train in
the winter. In high school I joined Team Hardwood and started racing more
seriously. Soon after, I realized that skiing is by far the coolest sport ever
and decided to make it my main focus. I spent the past two years going to U of
T and training in the deep south, but have decided it is time for a change of
scene and will be heading to
"Pack your paddle."
