Thank you to Parkway Closure volunteers!!

A huge thank-you to all of the clubs and individuals who pitched in
this summer and fall season to assist in the Gatineau Parkway road
closures. Your volunteer effort provided a place for the region's
cross-country ski athletes to train and improve as they pursue their
goals. This is the type of collaborative effort that makes
Ottawa-Gatineau a great ski community.

Thanks again - now let's all hope for snow to fill all those empty
roads with happy skiers!

Tonight for the Winter Season

November 5, 2007

Canada's Capital Region — The National Capital Commission (NCC) would
like to advise motorists that the Gatineau Park Parkway Network
(Gatineau, Champlain, Fortune) will be closed to vehicular traffic for
the season as of tonight.

During the winter season, Gatineau Park's Parkways are converted into

magnificent scenery and some of the best ski conditions in North
America.
