Pictures of XC Ottawa & Carleton U at Jim Howe Memorial Cross Country

Some XC Ottawa athletes and a good crew from the Carleton University Nordic Ski Team raced the Jim Howe Memorial cross country race today at the Hornet's nest park. With the Ottawa area's  great running community, it's surprising that this is the only cross country running event of the year. The National Capital Running Association do a great job hosting this event, so if you want to get off the hard pavement and enjoy some scenery, put it on your race calendar for next year.

XC Ottawa women raced the 5.5 km event, and Sheila was 2nd, Adele 3rd, and Megan 4th. Our men raced the 11km, and Karl was 1st, and Matthias finished 4th.
