Andrew Wynd
Sadly Andrew is now back home running his own Physiotheraphy Clinic - Balwyn Sports Physiotheraphy.
Andrew brought an international flavour to XC Ottawa - and it's wasn't for hiscooking. Andrew hails from Australia, where Nordic skiing ranks well below lawn bowling on the list of lame sports (sorry, all you dedicated lawn bowlers). Andrew has skied with the Australian National Program for several years, and has come to join us to get on the 'right' side of winter, to try and achieve the Australian qualification standard for World Cup and World Championship eligibility.
Andy is a physiotherapist by trade, and worked at Professional Physiotherapy in Barrhaven while he was in Ottawa - so of course he was our team's physiotherapist. His best results include a 4th at the Australian Nationals, and a 21st at a Continental Cup in Telemark, Wisconsin, in 2006. He also qualified for 2 World Championships while training in Ottawa.
