We are sorry to inform the Ottawa-Gatineau ski community that we will be cancelling the XC Ottawa Duathlon for 2015, which was scheduled for January 25th at Nakkertok Nordic.
The unfortunate low and late snow conditions have challenged local race organizers, and the Coupe Skinouk, which was to be held Sunday, January 11, has been rescheduled for January 25th, the same date as the XC Ottawa Duathlon. We discussed this change of date with the Coupe Skinouk organizers and feel it is the best option for the ski community. The Coupe Skinouk is a popular NCD event and attracts the same skiers as the duathlon.
We encourage all skiers to participate in the Coupe Skinouk on the 25th! It's a fun race format, with an Interval Start Classic race in the morning, and a Skate race in the afternoon (Pursuit start - based on the morning's results). You'll find more details at the link below.
You are invited to Skinouk's annual cross-country ski race to be held at Relais plein air in Gatineau on 25th of January 2015.
